How to record and share your hololinks
If you just created a hololink and you can’t wait for people to see it on social media, or you’re creating a proposal for a client and you need to add a video to show an AR prototype, this blog post is for you.
What you need to do is:
1 . Take out your smartphone
2 . Start recording your screen
3 . Scan the QR code
4 . Show off your awesome hololink
5 . Stop the recording
6 . Share!
How to record the screen?
1 . Go to Settings, then to Control Center and click More Controls (or Customize Controls), then the Add button right next to Screen Recording.
2 . Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Control Center again
3 . Click Start Recording and wait for the countdown.
4 . To stop recording, click on the top bar and then click Stop.
5 . Save the recording to your photos
1 . Swipe down from the top of your screen to see the menu.
2 . Find Screen Record and click on it.
3 . If you can’t find it, click Edit and drag Screen Record to the Quick Settings.
4 . Click Start Recording and wait for the countdown.
5 . To stop recording, click on the top bar and click Stop.
Some Androids won’t have a built-in screen recorder, so you might need to download an App like AZ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hecorat.screenrecorder.free&hl=en_US and follow the same logic to record the hololink experience.
You will find the video in your gallery, ready to be shared on any social media platform or a proposal for a client.
